The ACFE has published the current list of candidates for the 2009-2010 Board of Regents and I am proud to say that Martha Reynolds McVeigh, CFE has made the cut!  As you all know, her contributions to the RI Chapter #33 have been extraordinary.  Under her leadership, our chapter was the recipient of the ACFE 2005 Chapter of the Year award.  Martha has played a key role in the history of our chapter.  Please cast your vote for in support of her candidacy today!

The ACFE's Nominations Committee has selected the candidates below to compete for two positions on the 2009-2010 Board of Regents. The Board sets membership standards to promote professionalism and ensure the reputation of the CFE credential.

Beginning Nov. 1 and ending Dec. 31, members will be able to vote online for their selections to replace two retiring Board of Regents members. In February 2009, George P. Farragher, CFE, CPA, Richard F. Woodford, Jr., J.D., CFE will retire from the board and will be replaced with newly elected Regents who will each serve two-year terms.

Though all nominees are publicly visible, voting for the Board of Regents is restricted to ACFE Members who have achieved the CFE Credential. CFEs may cast votes for two candidates. Voting ends promptly at midnight (Central) on Dec. 31, 2008.
